Oluwole Adama, directeur ex\u00e9cutif au nom de MDGIF. Le protocole d\u2019accord met l\u2019accent sur les mod\u00e8les de prestation dirig\u00e9s par le secteur priv\u00e9 et s\u2019aligne sur les mandats et les priorit\u00e9s strat\u00e9giques des deux institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon les termes du protocole d\u2019accord, Afreximbank et MDGIF travailleront ensemble avec l\u2019intention globale de mobiliser jusqu\u2019\u00e0 500 millions de dollars am\u00e9ricains sur une p\u00e9riode de quatre ans pour soutenir des projets d\u2019infrastructures gazi\u00e8res interm\u00e9diaires et en aval. L\u2019investissement est structur\u00e9 comme un m\u00e9lange de dette senior et d\u2019apports en actions, consid\u00e9r\u00e9s dans le cadre des mandats ind\u00e9pendants des deux entit\u00e9s, en mettant l\u2019accent sur l\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration de la modernisation et de l\u2019expansion du secteur gazier du Nigeria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les principaux domaines de collaboration sont les suivants :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Investissements cibl\u00e9s dans les infrastructures gazi\u00e8res : identification et hi\u00e9rarchisation conjointes des projets \u00e9ligibles, avec des objectifs annuels de gazoducs pour s\u2019assurer que les objectifs d\u2019investissement sont atteints.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Financement par emprunt senior : Afreximbank envisagera de fournir un financement direct et des garanties contre le risque de cr\u00e9dit pour soutenir les op\u00e9rations de financement de projets, en collaboration avec les institutions financi\u00e8res locales.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Soutien \u00e0 la pr\u00e9paration de projets : Mise en place d\u2019un soutien d\u00e9di\u00e9, soit par le biais d\u2019un financement, soit d\u2019un cadre de soutien, pour les \u00e9tudes de faisabilit\u00e9, la structuration juridique, les \u00e9valuations environnementales et d\u2019autres activit\u00e9s pr\u00e9paratoires \u00e0 des projets gaziers bancables.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Financement par fonds propres : MDGIF envisagera des apports en fonds propres pour compl\u00e9ter la dette senior d\u2019Afreximbank, permettant ainsi une structuration compl\u00e8te du capital pour les projets \u00e9ligibles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promotion et plaidoyer : MDGIF s\u2019appuiera sur les plateformes d\u2019Afreximbank, y compris la Foire commerciale intra-africaine, pour promouvoir ses initiatives et impliquer les parties prenantes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Renforcement des capacit\u00e9s : D\u00e9veloppement d\u2019un programme structur\u00e9 pour renforcer les capacit\u00e9s institutionnelles du MDGIF en mati\u00e8re de structuration de projets, de gestion des risques et de financements innovants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>En ce qui concerne la collaboration entre les deux parties, Mme Kanayo Awani, vice-pr\u00e9sidente ex\u00e9cutive du commerce intra-africain et du d\u00e9veloppement des exportations \u00e0 Afreximbank, a not\u00e9 que :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab Ce protocole d\u2019accord marque une \u00e9tape importante dans notre engagement commun \u00e0 acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la transformation \u00e9conomique de l\u2019Afrique. En combinant l\u2019expertise approfondie d\u2019Afreximbank en mati\u00e8re de commerce et de financement de projets avec la port\u00e9e nationale de l\u2019investissement de MDGIF, nous sommes pr\u00eats \u00e0 d\u00e9bloquer de nouvelles opportunit\u00e9s pour une croissance inclusive et un d\u00e9veloppement durable \u00e0 travers le Nigeria et, potentiellement, dans la sous-r\u00e9gion de l\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Ouest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elle a ajout\u00e9 : \u00ab Nous sommes pr\u00eats \u00e0 travailler avec le MDGIF pour faire progresser le d\u00e9veloppement de projets d\u2019infrastructures gazi\u00e8res au Nigeria qui ajouteront de la valeur aux ressources naturelles du pays. Cette intervention est \u00e9galement importante car elle s\u2019aligne sur le programme d\u2019industrialisation et de d\u00e9veloppement des exportations d\u2019Afreximbank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans ses commentaires, M. Oluwole Adama, Directeur ex\u00e9cutif de MDGIF, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab Ancr\u00e9 dans le cadre de notre mandat statutaire en vertu de la loi sur l\u2019industrie p\u00e9troli\u00e8re et align\u00e9 sur le programme du pr\u00e9sident Bola Ahmed Tinubu visant \u00e0 exploiter les ressources gazi\u00e8res du Nigeria pour l\u2019industrialisation et la croissance \u00e9conomique, ce partenariat avec Afreximbank permet \u00e0 MDGIF de mobiliser des capitaux, d\u2019\u00e9tendre les infrastructures essentielles en milieu et en aval, de r\u00e9duire le torchage et de fournir des solutions \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques durables qui alimentent les industries, cr\u00e9ent des emplois et am\u00e9liorent les moyens de subsistance dans tout le Nigeria. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>T\u00e9moin de la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie au nom du gouvernement nig\u00e9rian, le ministre d\u2019\u00c9tat aux Ressources p\u00e9troli\u00e8res (gaz) a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce partenariat, nous lib\u00e9rons le potentiel de mobilisation de jusqu\u2019\u00e0 500 millions de dollars au cours des quatre prochaines ann\u00e9es pour les infrastructures gazi\u00e8res du Nigeria. Plus important encore, nous cr\u00e9ons une r\u00e9serve de projets bancables, appuy\u00e9s par des \u00e9tudes de faisabilit\u00e9, la pr\u00e9paration de projets et des m\u00e9canismes de partage des risques, qui acc\u00e9l\u00e9reront le rythme des investissements dans les pipelines et le traitement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La quatri\u00e8me Foire commerciale intra-africaine (IATF2025) qui vient de s\u2019achever a \u00e9t\u00e9 un \u00e9norme succ\u00e8s, d\u00e9passant tous ses objectifs. L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement a attir\u00e9 plus de 112 000 participants, en personne et en ligne, et a g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 plus de 48 milliards de dollars en accords commerciaux. Plus de 2 100 exposants y ont particip\u00e9 en pr\u00e9sence de 20 chefs d\u2019\u00c9tat et de repr\u00e9sentants de gouvernement, ainsi que de plusieurs ministres et autres hauts fonctionnaires et hommes d\u2019affaires de premier plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00c0 propos du MDGIF<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Fonds d\u2019infrastructure gazi\u00e8re interm\u00e9diaire et aval (MDGIF) est une initiative strat\u00e9gique en vertu de la loi sur l\u2019industrie p\u00e9troli\u00e8re du Nigeria, ax\u00e9e sur la catalysation des investissements dans les infrastructures gazi\u00e8res pour soutenir l\u2019utilisation nationale et la croissance orient\u00e9e vers l\u2019exportation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019objectif principal du Fonds est d\u2019effectuer des investissements en actions appartenant \u00e0 des participations ou \u00e0 des actionnaires appartenant \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9tat dans des infrastructures li\u00e9es aux op\u00e9rations gazi\u00e8res interm\u00e9diaires et en aval visant \u00e0 accro\u00eetre la consommation int\u00e9rieure de gaz naturel au Nig\u00e9ria dans des projets financ\u00e9s en partie par des investissements priv\u00e9s. En outre, le fonds vise \u00e0 encourager l\u2019investissement priv\u00e9 par le biais du partage des risques en participant initialement \u00e0 des projets \u00e0 haut risque s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s et \u00e0 d\u2019autres investissements en actions qui encouragent l\u2019investissement dans les infrastructures gazi\u00e8res interm\u00e9diaires et en aval.
