Cette d\u00e9cision marque un tournant majeur dans le secteur de l\u2019audit et du conseil en Afrique subsaharienne<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00c0 compter du 1er avril 2025, PwC Afrique francophone se retire officiellement du r\u00e9seau mondial PwC apr\u00e8s plus de 50 ans de partenariat. Cette d\u00e9cision marque un tournant majeur dans le secteur de l\u2019audit et du conseil en Afrique subsaharienne<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PwC Global, pr\u00e9sent dans 17 pays d\u2019Afrique subsaharienne, met fin \u00e0 sa collaboration avec 10 pays on francophones : C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, Gabon, Cameroun, RDC, Congo, Madagascar, Guin\u00e9e, S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, Guin\u00e9e \u00c9quatoriale et Tchad. Les anciennes filiales continueront leurs activit\u00e9s en tant qu\u2019entit\u00e9s ind\u00e9pendantes, avec des objectifs de mieux r\u00e9pondre aux besoins locaux. Un communiqu\u00e9 pr\u00e9cise que cette s\u00e9paration a \u00e9t\u00e9 accompagn\u00e9e d\u2019une transition coordonn\u00e9e afin de garantir une continuit\u00e9 de service et maintenir l\u2019engagement client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette d\u00e9cision r\u00e9sulte d&#8217;un \u2018&#8217;examen strat\u00e9gique approfondi&#8221;, selon le communiqu\u00e9 officiel de PwC, men\u00e9 pour garantir une meilleure ad\u00e9quation aux march\u00e9s locaux. Derri\u00e8re cette communication mesur\u00e9e, les coulisses de la s\u00e9paration r\u00e9v\u00e8lent une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 plus contrast\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D&#8217;apr\u00e8s des sources proches du dossier , cette rupture serait le r\u00e9sultat de manquements aux standards de conformit\u00e9 impos\u00e9s par le si\u00e8ge mondial de PwC. La gouvernance, la transparence financi\u00e8re et la gestion des ressources humaines des bureaux africains francophones \u00e9taient r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement critiqu\u00e9es par la maison-m\u00e8re, sans qu&#8217;aucune am\u00e9lioration significative ne soit constat\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette s\u00e9paration pourrait modifier profond\u00e9ment le march\u00e9 de l\u2019audit et du conseil en Afrique francophone. D\u2019autres grands cabinets internationaux comme Deloitte, EY et KPMG pourraient profiter de cette opportunit\u00e9 pour accro\u00eetre leur pr\u00e9sence, tandis que des cabinets locaux en pleine croissance pourraient se positionner comme alternatives cr\u00e9dibles. Toutefois, l\u2019absence de PwC pourrait inqui\u00e9ter certains investisseurs et multinationales attach\u00e9s \u00e0 des acteurs internationaux de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce retrait r\u00e9duira \u00e9galement la couverture strat\u00e9gique de PwC en Afrique, un continent en pleine expansion \u00e9conomique. Les cabinets locaux, bien que plus proches des r\u00e9alit\u00e9s r\u00e9gionales, manquent encore de ressources et de capacit\u00e9s technologiques par rapport aux grands acteurs mondiaux.
