La compagnie a\u00e9rienne nationale a annonc\u00e9 son intention d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir neuf Boeing 737-8 MAX.Cette commande ferme a \u00e9t\u00e9 sign\u00e9 de&nbsp;lors du&nbsp;<strong>Dubai Air Show 2025<\/strong>, en pr\u00e9sence du ministre des Transports terrestres et a\u00e9riens, Yankoba Di\u00e9m\u00e9.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une acquisition marquant le retour de la compagnie s\u00e9n\u00e9galaise chez Boeing apr\u00e8s plus de vingt ans d\u2019absence \u2013 &nbsp;sa premi\u00e8re commande aupr\u00e8s de Boeing date de 2004 \u2013 et s\u2019inscrit dans une strat\u00e9gie ambitieuse de modernisation et d\u2019expansion r\u00e9gionale et internationale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avec l\u2019introduction de ces monocouloirs de nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, Air S\u00e9n\u00e9gal pr\u00e9voit : d\u2019\u00e9tendre son r\u00e9seau vers l\u2019Europe, de lancer de nouvelles lignes vers le Moyen-Orient et l\u2019Am\u00e9rique, de desservir des villes europ\u00e9ennes secondaires en contournant les grands hubs, de consolider la place de Dakar comme hub a\u00e9rien de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence en Afrique de l\u2019Ouest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les avions, qui pourront transporter jusqu\u2019\u00e0 178 passagers en configuration bi-classe et couvrir une autonomie de 3 500 milles nautiques (6 480 km), viendront renforcer la flotte op\u00e9rationnelle actuelle compos\u00e9e de deux A330-900neo, un ATR72 et deux A321-200. \u00ab&nbsp;<em>Cette acquisition marque un tournant majeur pour Air S\u00e9n\u00e9gal. Cette commande s\u2019inscrit dans notre strat\u00e9gie de renforcement et de modernisation de la flotte afin de soutenir l\u2019expansion de notre r\u00e9seau r\u00e9gional et intercontinental, et de renforcer la position de Dakar comme hub a\u00e9rien de premier plan en Afrique de l\u2019Ouest&nbsp;<\/em>\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Tidiane Ndiaye, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral d\u2019Air S\u00e9n\u00e9gal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La modernisation de la flotte s\u2019accompagne d\u2019une volont\u00e9 de r\u00e9duire l\u2019empreinte environnementale. Le 737 MAX consomme 20% de carburant en moins et \u00e9met 20% de CO2 en moins que les avions qu\u2019il remplace, tout en r\u00e9duisant de moiti\u00e9 son impact sonore.
